Proxmobo: Mobile Client for Proxmox VE

Proxmobo is a mobile client for Proxmox VE, the open-source virtualization platform that anchors a large share of home labs.

What you can do from a phone

Start, stop, and reboot virtual machines and LXC containers; check node CPU, memory, and storage usage; view running tasks; and open a console when something needs attention. That covers most out-of-hours incidents without finding a laptop.

Why it is useful specifically for Proxmox

Proxmox’s web interface is capable but unmistakably built for a desktop: dense trees, small controls, and a layout that fights a phone screen. A native client removes that friction for the small set of actions people actually need while away from a desk.

Access

It authenticates against the Proxmox API using an API token, which can be scoped to limit what the app is permitted to do. That scoping is worth setting up: a token restricted to the VMs you might realistically restart is safer than full root access sitting in a phone app.
