Androtainer: Android Companion for Portainer

Androtainer is an Android client for Portainer, the container management interface.

The three-tap restart

Almost all mobile container management comes down to one workflow: something is broken, you are not at a computer, and you want to look at logs and restart a container. Androtainer covers exactly that, plus container status, resource usage, and start and stop controls.

What it is not

This is not a replacement for Portainer’s web interface. Creating stacks, editing volumes and networks, and configuring registries are all desktop jobs. The mobile app is for observation and simple recovery actions.

Connecting

It authenticates against your Portainer instance with its URL and credentials. Portainer holds effectively root-level control over your Docker host, so it should never be exposed directly to the internet; reach it over a VPN and the app works the same from anywhere.

Alternatives

Harbour covers iOS, and Whaledeck and DweebUI are lighter web interfaces if Portainer itself feels heavier than you need.
