Paperparrot: Mobile Client for Paperless-ngx

Paperparrot is a mobile client for Paperless-ngx, the self-hosted document management system.

Capture is the main use case

The hardest part of running a paperless archive is getting paper into it. Paperparrot turns a phone camera into the scanner: photograph a receipt or letter, upload it directly to Paperless-ngx, and let the server handle OCR, tagging, and filing. That closes the loop that otherwise requires walking to a desktop scanner.

Beyond uploading, it exposes full-text search across the archive, so finding a document while standing in a shop or on a phone call actually works.

Setup

It needs your Paperless-ngx URL and an API token from the instance. As with any archive containing your personal documents, keep the server off the public internet and reach it over a VPN.

Paperless Mobile and Swift Paperless cover the same job on their respective platforms, all built against the same API.
