Linklater: Android Client for Linkding
Linklater is a community-built Android client for Linkding.
Share sheet is the point
The single most useful thing a mobile bookmark client can do is register itself in the Android share sheet. Read something in a browser or a feed reader, hit share, pick Linklater, add tags, done. Without that, saving a link on a phone means copying a URL and pasting it into a web form, which nobody sustains.
What else it covers
Browsing and searching your existing bookmarks, tag filtering, and offline access to previously loaded entries.
Connecting
It needs your Linkding instance URL and an API token from Linkding’s settings. Since the instance is yours, whether it is reachable outside your network is your decision; a VPN is the usual approach for keeping it private.
Alternatives
LinkThing covers the same ground on iOS, and the official browser extension handles desktop capture.
