This is the official browser extension for Linkding, the self-hosted bookmark manager.
Why the extension matters more than it sounds
A bookmark manager you have to visit in order to save something will not get used. The extension collapses saving to one click from the page you are already on, pre-filling the title and URL, offering tag autocomplete from your existing tags, and warning you when a URL is already saved.
Setup
Install it in Firefox or a Chromium-based browser, then point it at your Linkding instance URL and an API token generated from Linkding’s settings page. Because it talks to your own server, nothing passes through a third party.
