Honey: Simple Dashboard for Self-Hosted Services

Honey is a small dashboard for the services running on your own hardware.

The problem every homelab reaches

Somewhere around the sixth service, remembering which port belongs to which application stops working. A dashboard fixes that by giving every service a tile on one page, which becomes the browser home page and the thing you actually navigate from.

Deliberately simple

Honey is a link dashboard rather than a monitoring platform. It shows what you run and takes you there. Configuration is straightforward and the resource footprint is negligible, which suits running it on the same small box as everything else.

Choosing among dashboards

Glance adds feeds, weather, and live widgets. Homarr offers drag-and-drop editing and Docker integration. Homepage is YAML-driven with service status widgets. Homer and Dashy sit in similar territory. Honey belongs at the minimal end, which is the right choice if a wall of live widgets is exactly what you do not want.
