Watcharr: Self-Hosted Watch List for Film and TV
Watcharr is a self-hosted watch list: what you plan to watch, what you are partway through, and what you have finished.
Why track this yourself
Trakt, Letterboxd, and IMDb all know your complete viewing history, which is more revealing than most people consider. Watcharr keeps that on your own server, and unlike a commercial service it cannot change its terms, add a subscription, or shut down with your data inside.
What it does
Film and TV tracking with per-episode progress, ratings and reviews, a planned-to-watch queue, and multi-user support so a household can track separately. Metadata comes from public film databases.
Importing existing history
It supports importing from Trakt, Letterboxd, and similar services, which matters: the reason people stay on tracking platforms is years of accumulated history, and a tracker you cannot migrate into starts empty and gets abandoned.
