Why it exists
Plausible’s web dashboard is already light and mobile-friendly, so this is a convenience layer rather than a fix for something broken: app-switcher access, native charts, and no login flow every time you want to check yesterday’s numbers.
Works with self-hosted instances
The app supports both Plausible Cloud and self-hosted deployments, which matters because self-hosting Plausible is common precisely among people who care about analytics privacy. You supply your instance URL and an API key generated in Plausible’s settings.
Scope
This is a viewer, not an administration tool: it displays stats rather than managing sites, goals, or team members. For that, the web interface remains the place to go.
