DaRemote: Android Server Monitoring and Management

DaRemote is an Android application for keeping an eye on Linux servers and taking basic action on them from a phone.

Scope

It monitors system resources over SSH, manages Docker containers, controls download clients such as qBittorrent and SABnzbd, and integrates with several self-hosted services. That mix suits the typical home lab, where the machine you want to check is also running the media stack.

SSH as the transport

Because much of it works over SSH rather than requiring an agent, it works against plain servers with nothing extra installed. Use key authentication, and prefer a dedicated key for the phone so access can be revoked without touching your other machines.

When to reach for it

The realistic use case is triage: a service stopped, a disk filled, a download stalled. DaRemote lets you confirm what is wrong and apply the obvious fix. Anything more involved is still a laptop job.
