Termius: Cross-Platform SSH Client

Termius is an SSH client available across desktop and mobile platforms, commonly used to administer self-hosted servers from whatever device is nearby.

Why it shows up in self-hosting setups

Running your own servers means connecting to them from a laptop, sometimes a phone, occasionally a tablet. Termius keeps host definitions, keys, and snippets consistent across all of those, so adding a server once makes it reachable everywhere rather than reconfiguring per device.

What it provides

A terminal with hardware keyboard support, key-based authentication and agent forwarding, port forwarding, SFTP file transfer, saved command snippets, and jump host chaining for reaching machines behind a bastion.

A note on sync and licensing

The cross-device sync that makes Termius convenient is a paid, vendor-hosted feature, which means your host list, and depending on configuration your keys, live on their infrastructure. That is a legitimate tradeoff to weigh when the whole point of your setup is self-hosting. Sync can be left off, and the free tier covers basic local use.

Alternatives

Secure ShellFish and Blink on iOS, JuiceSSH on Android, and plain OpenSSH with an SSH config file on desktop, which syncs perfectly well through a dotfiles repository.
