About Kimsufi
Kimsufi is OVHcloud’s entry-level dedicated server brand, designed for developers and hobbyists who want bare-metal hardware at minimal cost. Servers are older hardware (Celeron, Core i5/i7 era processors) with spinning HDD storage, but provide genuine dedicated resources with no shared CPU or RAM. These are real dedicated servers, not VPS. Kimsufi is operated by OVHcloud and uses the same data center infrastructure.
Pricing
Entry pricing starts at €7.99/mo (Intel Celeron G1820, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 100Mbps unmetered). Mid-tier options with Core i5-750 and 16GB RAM run €12.99/mo. Servers come with 1 IPv4 address included; additional IPs cost extra. Setup is typically within 24–48 hours.
Service Details
Kimsufi servers are managed via the OVHcloud Manager. Includes IPMI-equivalent (KVM) access for out-of-band management, rescue mode, and OS reinstall from a library of Linux and Windows templates. No SLA on hardware replacement time (compared to OVH main brand’s 1-hour SLA). DDoS protection (OVH VAC) is included. Ideal for learning, testing, or hosting personal projects.
Available in: Roubaix (France), Strasbourg (France), Gravelines (France), Beauharnois (Canada), London (UK), Warsaw (Poland)
Web Hosting
Through the broader OVHcloud ecosystem, shared web hosting is available. Kimsufi itself primarily focuses on dedicated and VPS products.
