About Infomaniak
Infomaniak is an independent Swiss company that builds and runs its own data centers in Switzerland, develops its own software, and is known for its environmental focus. It is one of the most popular European alternatives to the US hyperscalers for people who want their data under Swiss law.
Pricing
Prices are in Swiss francs (payable in CHF or EUR). VPS Lite starts at CHF 2.70/month for 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM, and 20GB, up to CHF 18 for 4 vCPU and 8GB. Lite prices assume a 12-month commitment paid up front; larger sizes can also be paid monthly. Lite bandwidth is 500Mbps with unlimited traffic.
VPS Cloud is the more flexible product: AMD EPYC vCPUs, NVMe storage, 10Gbps bandwidth, snapshots, and an SLA, resizable at any time up to 32 vCPU and 128GB RAM. It costs considerably more than Lite.
Outbound port 25 is blocked by default on VPS Lite, so plan on a relay if you want to send mail from it.
