About Civo
Civo is a UK cloud provider that made its name with managed Kubernetes built on K3s, the lightweight Kubernetes distribution. Clusters start in a couple of minutes, and the control plane is free: you pay only for worker nodes. That makes it one of the cheapest ways to run a real managed cluster for a side project, a staging environment, or learning. Our K3s basics guide covers the same distribution on your own hardware.
Pricing
Standard compute instances, which also serve as Kubernetes nodes, start at $5.43/month for 1 vCPU and 1GB RAM with 25GB NVMe, and go up to $173.81/month for 8 vCPU and 32GB. CPU-optimized, RAM-optimized, and performance sizes are available, along with GPU instances in London.
Civo advertises free data transfer in and out. Load balancers are $10.86/month, and block storage volumes are $0.11/GB per month.
Service Details
Everything is API-driven, with a CLI, a Terraform provider, and object storage and managed databases alongside compute. Plain compute instances work like any VPS if you do not need Kubernetes.
Available in: London (UK), Frankfurt (Germany), New York (US), and Mumbai (India). London has the full product range, including GPUs.
