About Worldstream

Worldstream operates from Naaldwijk in the Netherlands and runs one of the larger privately owned networks in European hosting, with capacity measured in multiple terabits and direct peering at AMS-IX and elsewhere.

The company keeps a substantial parts inventory on site and builds servers to order, which means genuinely custom configurations, twenty-four drive storage chassis, unusual memory amounts, specific NIC requirements, are practical rather than a special order taking weeks.

It is privately held, has been trading since 2006, and grew without outside investment, which tends to correlate with stability in this industry.

Pricing

Entry Xeon servers start around €70/month, dual Xeon Gold configurations around €260/month, and large storage builds around €550/month. Unmetered 1Gbps is standard across the range, with 10Gbps and higher available.

Custom builds are quoted individually. There is no per-terabyte metering to model, which simplifies budgeting considerably for anything egress-heavy.

Service Details

Full root access, any operating system including custom ISO installation, IPMI on every server. The customer portal handles reboots, reinstalls, and bandwidth graphs without needing support.

DDoS protection is included at the network level. Private VLANs, additional IP blocks, and BGP sessions are all available.

The very large storage configurations make this a strong candidate for a ZFS array or a bulk backup target, particularly with unmetered bandwidth removing the usual restore-cost anxiety.

Support is Dutch-based, 24/7, and generally well regarded. Single location is the main limitation: excellent for European latency, less so if you need presence in Asia or the Americas.

Available in: Naaldwijk, Netherlands
