About DataPacket
DataPacket is a Czech company whose actual product is the network. It operates its own global backbone with a very large amount of transit and peering capacity, and sells bare metal servers attached to it. Customers are typically CDNs, streaming platforms, game companies, and others whose costs are dominated by egress rather than compute.
The distinguishing offer is unmetered high-capacity ports. Where most hosts sell you bandwidth by the terabyte, DataPacket sells a 10, 25, or 100Gbps port and lets you use it. If you are moving petabytes, the arithmetic changes completely.
The network is also engineered rather than assembled: multiple tier 1 transits per location, extensive IX peering, and published routing policy.
Pricing
Servers start around $250/month for a 16-core machine on a 10Gbps unmetered port, rising around $600/month for larger EPYC configurations on 25Gbps. Custom edge deployments with 100Gbps ports are quoted individually.
This is expensive per core and cheap per terabyte. If you are running a small application, you are paying for network you will not use, and Hetzner or OneProvider will serve you far better.
Service Details
Any Linux distribution, full root, IPMI, and a console for provisioning and monitoring. Private VLANs connect servers within and between locations over their backbone rather than the public internet.
Anycast IP support is available, which is the piece that makes multi-location edge serving actually work and which most bare metal providers do not offer.
Support is engineer-staffed and 24/7, with the network operations team reachable directly, which matters when your problem is a routing issue rather than a dead disk.
Available in: More than 30 locations across six continents
