UFW
Also known as: Uncomplicated Firewall
Uncomplicated Firewall, a simple front end for Linux firewall rules, default on Ubuntu, using commands like ufw allow 443/tcp.
What Is UFW in Linux?
UFW turns short commands into nftables or iptables rules. You set default policies, allow the services you need by port or app profile, and enable it.
Be aware that Docker publishes container ports by inserting its own rules, which bypasses UFW. Bind published ports to 127.0.0.1 or use a reverse proxy to keep them private.
Example
sudo ufw allow OpenSSH
sudo ufw status numbered Learn more about UFW
